How to Exclude Words from Your Google Search

You can use the minus sign (-) before a word you want to exclude from your Google search results. For example, if you want to find articles about cats but exclude articles about cat food, you would search for “cats -food.” The minus sign must be immediately before the word you want to exclude, with no spaces in between. You can also use the minus sign to exclude multiple words. This tells Google to search for “cute cats” but to exclude any results that come from the domain “example.com”.

If you want to exclude results from multiple domains, you can use the -site: operator multiple times in a single query. For example:
